Preparations intensify in Ethiopia for the 2013 Orange Africa Cup of Nations with the local league being suspended for two months.
The recession has been prompted by the commitment of some players from first division clubs with the national team. The Ethiopia preliminary squad currently features 10 players form Saint George with Dedebit having nine. Ethiopia Coffee have two players while EEPCO, Arba Minch, Sebata Kenema and Defence Force FC have one each. Ethiopia play the nations cup in group C against Zambia, Burkina Faso and Nigeria.
