Ethiopia came from behind and held one of Africa's strongest team to a 1-1 draw in a friendly match in Doha on Monday. Ethiopia's equalizer goal came in the 64th minute through Ethiopia's striker Saladin Seid, Reuters reports. Last week, Ethiopia beat Niger 1-0 in a friendly at home.
Salain Seid, who plays as a forward for Wadi Degla FC in the Egyptian Premier League, has been very instrumental in Ethiopia's recent international matches.
Ethiopia are playing at the Nations Cup finals for the first time in more than 30 years and remain something of an unknown quantity. They compete in Group C with defending champions Zambia, Nigeria and Burkina Faso.
Tunisia are in Group D with Algeria, Togo and the much fancied Ivory Coast. The tournament starts on Jan. 19.
