Cuban Experts Train Ethiopians in Biotechnology


Addis Ababa, Nov 15 (Prensa Latina) Cuba and Ethiopia expanded cooperation in biotechnology with the beginning today of the training of specialists from this country in the production of vaccines, diplomatic sources stated.

Cuba experts from the Finlay Institute will train their Ethiopean colleagues at the headquarters of the National Health and Nutrition Research Institute of this African state.

Cuba's ambassador in Addis Ababa, Juan Manuel Rodriguez,  described this fact as an
effective example of South-South cooperation, in which experts from both countries will continue exchanging experiences.

These reciprocal relationships are limited to areas of knowledge, research results, and technology transfer, Rodriguez said.
