Either Uganda or Ethiopia will become the first team to storm the quarterfinals of this year’s Cecafa Tusker Cup if any record victory on Tuesday.
The Cranes and Walya Antelopes face off at Namboole having both posted wins in their opening games at the weekend.
They lead Group A on three points apiece with Kenya and South Sudan, the early kick-off, on naught.
Uganda coach Bobby Williamson and his side will, however, make do without their first choice goalkeeper Abel Dhaira.
The 25-year-old was ruled out of the competition on Monday after scans revealed he had three fractures on his left eye, a result of a collision with Kenyan striker Rama Salim as the Cranes beat the Harambee Stars 1-0 on Saturday.
Hamza Muwonge, who replaced Dhaira in the Saturday clash, is expected to start against Ethiopia.
Bobby is also expected to ring some changes in the striking department. He started with three strikers in Brian Umony, Emmanuel Okwi and Hamis Kiiza against Kenya but some the trio were snuffed out.
“I will see how guys will be before the match and we could see some changes,” the Scot, Bobby, told SuperSport.com ahead of the clash.
“We have four strikers and they are all capable. We could use may be three, may be two, may be one, but we won’t have all four on.”
Okwi is the most likely to be retained given his sharpness in training on Monday, with one of Umony or Kiiza making way for Robert Ssentongo, who came on for Umony at the weekend.
Brian Majjwega could earn a starting role down the left, leaving Okwi to cut inside from the right with either Kiiza or Umony leading the line.
The three-man midfield of Geoffrey ‘Baba’ Kizito, skipper Hassan Wasswa and Moses Oloya plus he backline of Godfrey Walusimbi, Henry Kalungi, Isaac Isinde and Denis Guma is likely to unchanged.
Ethiopia, who have 14 new call-ups in their squad, were lacklustre in the 1-0 victory over South Sudan but Bobby will know just too well not to take them lightly.
The two nations have met 24 times, each winning eight times, drawing an equal number, and losing eight times apiece.
