Egypt takes part in a meeting for the eastern Nile Basin countries which kicks off in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa on today 5/11/2012.
Technical experts from the three eastern Nile Basin countries will convene first within the framework of preparation for the ministerial meeting that is expected to be held on Tuesday.
Egypt's Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mohamed Baha'eddin and his Ethiopian and Sudanese counterparts are expected to discuss the future of technical cooperation between the three countries.
Meanwhile, the water resources ministry convened a meeting of its technical committee to discuss indicators of development related to the national plan on water management.
